When you are going low it's important to get the right kit for the job. With the GMax advantage you get the benefit of much improved handling but without sacrificing ride quality too much. GMax offer around 30mm-40mm drop in most instances, but extra low kits are available for some models; which will drop it up to 60mm! Vital Pre-Order Information
Ensure that the distance on the origanal CLIO dampers between the 2 front hub fitting holes (centre to centre) is 54mm. The dimension to check is indicated by arrows on the illustrated Gmax sports shock.

If the dimension on your Clio 1 is 52mm you require :-

• Gmax Renault Clio [1.1, 1.2, 1.4, 1.6] 1990-1998 lowers by 55mm (40 RE 18L/52)
• Gmax Renault Clio [1.1, 1.2, 1.4, 1.6] 1990-1998 lowers by 35mm (40 RE 07/52)

The correct front shocks are :-

• Gmax Pair of Front Shocks Renault Clio [1.1, 1.2, 1.4, 1.6] 1990-1998 (50 RE 07/52F)
