The Ecotek device produces a rasping noise which some drivers dont find to their taste. The Pipercross Filter add-on simply fits to the top of the Ecotek and silences the sound to a more acceptable level. The filter will not fit to anything other than an Ecotek and will not produce any gains on its own.
